The MSCA IF are postdoctoral fellowships, financed through the European Commission for 2 year positions, covering salary and research costs of the researchers, who can come from anywhere in the world. The evaluation process of these programmes is more about the project and the career development of the candidate, than his/her publication record. The organizations in Luxembourg that want to host such talented researchers include large public research organizations as well as private companies that offer interesting job perspectives after completion of the fellowship. In 2019, through our excellent host organizations and our training and support in grant writing, we had a success rate of 29%.

In short, the applicants can browse a selection of expressions of interest with project ideas from our host institutions here; they can submit their CV online until May 1^st 2020, and it will be forwarded to the respective organizations, who will select the most promising applicants until June 1^st 2020. If selected, they will then together proceed to write a 10 page research proposal that will be submitted to the European Commission by September 9^th 2020, the call deadline, and proceed for revision by external experts from your field.
