FAIS represented strongly at the 17th International Congress of Immunology (ICI) held in Beijing 18-23 October-2019.

FAIS Secretary-General Professor Clive Gray made an exciting Symposium presentation. FAIS was also represented at the large International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) stand. Where goodies like rubik’s cubes, mugs and more were given out as advertising for the upcoming Cape Town 2022 meeting. The 11th African Congress of Immunology being held in Malawi over 29th November – 3rd December 2020 was also advertised.

The 18th International Congress of Immunology in Cape Town in 15-20th August 2022 will be the very first immunology meeting of its scale being held in Africa. Prof Clive Gray launched the build up to the meeting with an address at the Beijing closing ceremony. He was accompanied by beautiful singing of “My African Dream” by Dr Tiro Bogale from the Division of Immunology, University of Cape Town.
