Research Interest: Dr. Maureen Luvanda is a Kenyan scientist with over a decade of experience advancing infectious disease diagnostics. Her work has generated practical outputs ranging from evaluating devices that lower infective doses, building platforms to evaluate host-pathogen interactions, promoting animal welfare in infectious disease research and vaccine development. Dr. Luvanda has also gained extensive exposure to different international and cultural contexts, having acquired work experience from four continents i.e., Africa, Asia, North America and Europe.
